Chili Cook-Off @ Fisk – 10/29

The congregation is supporting a Chili Cook-off at Fisk University on October 29, 2002 from 11 AM – 2 PM. There are also sign up sheets in the foyer for members to sign up for items needed. The Next Generation Youth Ministry invites parents and grandparents of Jackson Street Youth (Ages 8-18) to an informational meeting immediately after morning worship in the sanctuary. Come and meet the Next Generation Staff

MinistryU Training for Ministry Leaders – 2/12

MinistryU is a practical training for ministry leaders that we’ll be hosting on Zoom, on February 12, at 3:00 PM. This event is for ministry leaders and those who desire to lead a ministry. The topics that will be covered are goal setting and strategic planning for 2023.

Black History Month Program – 2/18

Save the Date! On Saturday, February 18, 2023, Jackson Street Church of Christ will host a Black History Month Program at 2:00 PM. This program will take place at the church building, feature our youth and members, and we will honor our historical heroes. 

Life Skills Youth Workshop – 3/25

The Next Generation Youth Ministry will be hosting quarterly life skills workshops in 2023. The first workshop will take place on March 25 from 9 AM – 11:30 AM for ages 8-18. For more information or to so sign your youth up, click here.

Vision Sunday 2023 (Part 1) – 3/26

We encourage you to join us for Vision Sunday. Bro. Christopher Jackson will provide an update on some of the things the congregation plans to endeavor in 2023 immediately after morning worship service.

Easter Egg Hunt – 4/9

The Next Generation Youth Staff will host an Easter Egg Hunt immediately after worship service on April 9, 2023. The event is for ages 3-18. We are asking for assistance with non-chocolate candy donations through Sunday, April 2.

Owls Meeting – 4/21

The Older Wiser Leaders in Service (OWLS) will resume their meetings beginning Friday, April 23, 2023, at 11:00 AM in the Keeble Fellowship Hall. Any member(s) of Jackson Street age 55+ are invited to come and see what being an OWL is all about. For questions, please contact Sis. Gwen Cummings
